FAQ’s

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU AUDITION:
Actors will be asked to read a monologue. Actors will be called to the stage one or more times to
try different scenes and different actor combinations. Actors may participate in theatre games and
improvisation. Actors should arrive on time for the audition and expect to stay for the entire
evening.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE AUDITION?
Please bring a list of all schedule conflicts and a resume (if you have one). If you have a
headshot, please bring it and we can attach to audition form. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes so
that you can move easily at auditions.

WHEN WILL I FIND OUT IF I’VE BEEN CAST?
You will be notified by email whether you are cast or not. You must email back to accept the role.
We will do one follow-up email/call if there is no response. You will be notified by Sunday, May 19th.

I WAS NOT ASKED TO ATTEND CALLBACKS. DOES THAT
MEAN I WON’T BE CAST?
Not necessarily.

I HAVE A CONFLICT WITH REHEARSAL DATES, DOES THAT
MEAN I WON’T BE CAST?
The director will usually work around minor conflicts, which is why it is important to list all
known conflicts on the audition form. Actors must be available for all performances. Conflicts with
performance dates will cause you to not be cast. If you have a conflict with a performance date,
please do not audition.

WHAT IF I GET SICK AND HAVE TO MISS A REHEARSAL?
If you are too sick to go to school or work, we typically don’t want you at rehearsal. Contact the
director as soon as possible if you must miss rehearsal due to an illness or emergency.
